Samedi 13, l’USBW organisait les Championnats du Brabant Wallon de Cross à Braine. 31 jeunes athlètes étaient présents sur la ligne de départ et 3 podiums (photos ci-dessous).

Samedi 20, le CABW organisait son cross annuel au Parc de la Dodaine à Nivelles. Avec un peu plus d’athlètes que la semaine avant, ils étaient 34 sur la ligne de départ.

Un Cross avant le Cross

La petite exception cross en ce mois d’octobre … la première manche de la Cross Cup à Berlare (24/10) réunis des athlètes d’un club pour créer un relais de 3, une course réservée au plus grands à partir de Minimes.

Formation d’officiel

Chers Amis,

Le RIWA est à la recherche de nouveaux officiels en athlétisme, pour renforcer son équipe actuelle. Pour les personnes qui désirent aider occasionnellement, vous pouvez devenir ‘officiel de cercle’ et n’être convoqué qu’aux organisations du RIWA.

Une petite formation de base pour devenir officiel(le) (d’environ 1h30), suivi d’un test sera organisée le vendredi 29 Octobre 2021 à partir de 19:00, dans le Hall Indoor à Louvain-la-Neuve. Il s’agit d’une initiative de l’Amicale des Officiel(le)s du Brabant Wallon.

Pour cette fin de vacances, le RIWA organisait un meeting ouvert pour les BPM où 69 athlètes étaient présents, dont 30 du RIWA – le dimanche 29 août.

– Jeanne LISON est 2e en Longueur avec un saut à 2m85.
– Camille SANDRON est 3e au 600m en 2’23″93.

Benjamins :
– Hugo PARDON est 3e en Hauteur avec une barre à 1m01 & est 3e sur 600m en 2’09″84.
– Sacha LONFILS est 3e en Balle de Hockey avec un lancer à 21m76 & est 2e sur 600m en 2’08″57.

Pupilles Filles :

Le samedi 28 août, les championnats LBFA Cadets/Scolaires se sont déroulés à Nivelles : 6 de nos jeunes athlètes ont été sélectionnés, avec 4 records personnels et 2 médailles !!

Premier en liste … Romain STIELTJES (Cad) en Hauteur : Il bat son record personnel de 11 cm et devient Vice-Champion LBFA 🥈 avec un saut à 1m81 !!!

Lionel CRICUS (Cad) sur 100m : Lio réalise un record personnel en 12″74 et prend la 19e au général ex-aequo !

Clarence VAN VYVE (Cad) sur 400m : Elle réalise également un record personnel en 1’05″97 et prend la 4e place au général !!!

Lionel CRICUS, à nouveau, en Longueur : Il réalise un saut à 5m21 et prend la 9e au général !

Gael HANSSENS (Cad) & Simon SCHURGERS (Cad) en Perche : Gael passe une barre à 2m70 et Simon passe la barre des 2m80. Ils prennent respectivement la 7e et 5e place !

Last but not least … Simon GENOW (Sco) au lancer du Disque : Simon bat son record personnel et devient Vice-Champion LBFA 🥈 avec un jet à 38m54 !!!

Samedi 7 – Flanders Cup @ Kessel-Lo : Tous les 2 sur 3.000m, Oskar WILLEMS (Sen) termine sa course en 9’09″72, tandis que Denis GALERIN (M35 – photo n°1 ci-dessous) bat le record club en 8’52″59 !

Même jour à Bertrix : Simon GENOW (Sco) réalise un record personnel en Disque avec un jet à 36m78 !

Mercredi 11 – Avondmeeting @ Ninove : 5 athlètes présents dont Gemma DELREUX (Cad – photo n°2 ci-dessous) qui réalise le minima élite B en Longueur avec un suat à 4m68 !

Vendredi 19 – Sprintmeeting @ Oordeghem : 3 athlètes présents dont Quentin HOFFKEN (Sco) bat son record personnel sur 100m en 12″16 !

Samedi 21 chargé en compétitions :
– 5.000m du NAC @ Nivelles : seul représentant RIWA, Jean-Baptiste DEFAWE (Sen) clôture sa course en 17’06″79 !
– Meeting Estival @ Jambes : la famille HANSSENS y réalise 2 records personnels. Gael en Perche avec une barre à 2m72 et Nathan en Hauteur avec une barre à 1m50 !
– Mémorial René Ravet @ Forest : 3 athlètes présents ; Olivier BARO (Sen) sur 400m, Etienne MASQUELIER sur 100m et Pierre FIEVEZ sur 1.500m.
– Gala de Perche @ Kessel-Lo : Après une longue année de blessures, Maxime NOLF (Sen – photo n°3 ci-dessous) revient en force ! Max réalise une belle performance en Perche à 4m51 et réalise le minima élite B 🤩 Welcome back 😎 & Bonne continuation …

Dimanche 22, encore une autre journée chargée en compétition :
– Circuit de l’Amitié @ Hannut : ‼️ Pari lancé ‼️ Nos Masters Hommes (M60 – photo en tête) avaient comme objectif de battre le record de Belgique du 4x100m par des athlètes d’un même club. ‼️ Pari tenu ‼️ Benoît DE POTTER d’Indoye, Roger DENAYS, Gérard POT & Etienne MASQUELIER étaient 💥☄️🔥 chaud boulette 🔥☄️ 💥cette après-midi à Hannut et battent le record de Belgique 🇧🇪 Masters 60 d’une demi-seconde en 58’’55 !!! 🤩✌️👍
Par la même occasion, ils établissent un nouveau record club en M60 et battent le record LBFA en M60 ! 😎 Bravo à nos quatre mousquetaires ! Olééééééé 🎉🎉🎉🎉
– Inauguration @ Wolumwé : 3 athlètes présents sur demi-fond ; Cécile COYETTE (Sen) sur 800m, Oskar WILLEMS (Sen) & Thibault FRANCOTTE (Sen) sur 1.500m.
– Meeting Ouvert @ Perwez : 4 athlètes présents ; Lionel CRICUS (Cad) sur 100m + Longueur, Youri SCHLAG (Sen) en Longueur, Mattis TROST (Sen) en Triple Saut et Maxime NOLF (Sen) en Perche.
– Openingsmeeting @ Mechelen : Emma BROZE (Sen) sur 300m.

Samedi 28 – Championnats LBFA Cad/Sco @ Nivelles : 6 athlètes sélectionnés, 4 records personnels & 🥈🥈 médailles d’argent !!!

Dimanche 29 – Open Meeting @ Lebbeke : 3 athlètes présents ; Gemma DELREUX (Cad) sur 100m, 200m + Longueur, Mattis Trost (Sen) & Youri SCHLAG (Sen) en Longueur.
